製作IBM System Storage DS Storage Manager 10 (Enterprise Management) SMIA-WS32-10.77.35.16.exe Silent Mode 筆記

用VPC 安裝SMIA-WS32-01.03.0305.0504.exe, 在TEMP FOLDER 找 MPIO Device Specific Module (DSM).msi , 儲存好 MPIO Device Specific Module (DSM).msi

因為嘗試過SMIA-WS32-01.03.0305.0504.exe -s -v -qn 怎想都進不了silent mode install, 所以唯有用他的msi 來作silent mode install....

在VPC 安裝SMIA-WS32-10.77.35.16.exe 並選好你想要的安裝BUNDLE, 安裝好後, 在 "C:\Program Files\IBM_DS" 找 IBM_System_Storage_DS_Storage_Manager_10_InstallLog.log

在LOG FILE 裡面, 會得到類似下列的參數

USER_INSTALL_DIR=C:\\Program Files\\IBM_DS
CHOSEN_FEATURE_LIST=SMclient,SMutil
CHOSEN_INSTALL_FEATURE_LIST=SMclient,SMutil
CHOSEN_INSTALL_SET=Custom
AUTO_START_CONSOLE=\"\",\"Do not Automatically Start the Monitor.\"

新建一個FILE 叫 installer.properties , 並儲存參數如下

INSTALLER_UI=Silent
USER_INSTALL_DIR=C:\\Program Files\\IBM_DS
CHOSEN_FEATURE_LIST=SMclient,SMutil
CHOSEN_INSTALL_FEATURE_LIST=SMclient,SMutil
CHOSEN_INSTALL_SET=Custom
AUTO_START_CONSOLE=\"\",\"Do not Automatically Start the Monitor.\"

在真實環境SILENT MODE INSTALL 時執行...

MPIO Device Specific Module (DSM).msi /Passive(或用/Quiet)

SMIA-WS32-10.77.35.16.exe -i silent -f installer.properties

完成了, 哈哈
